Do Ryanair offer discount codes?
Ryanair is Europe's largest low-cost airline, selling flights to over 200 destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, plus extras like seat selection, priority boarding, and car hire. While Ryanair rarely runs traditional percentage-off promo codes, they do offer occasional flash sales and route-specific deals, especially for members of their loyalty program. Influencer and creator codes are a different story—Ryanair partners with select travel influencers who share unique promo codes that can unlock small discounts or free add-ons like a free cabin bag or priority boarding on certain routes. These codes are often time-limited and tied to specific bookings, so they're worth hunting for if you're flexible with your travel dates.
To save money with Ryanair, your best bet is to book during their regular Tuesday or Thursday sales, always compare the 'Value' fare (which includes a small cabin bag) versus the 'Basic' fare (which does not), and avoid paying for extras you don't need—like printing your boarding pass at the airport. If you do find an influencer code, apply it early in the booking process, as some codes only work on flights, not on packages or add-ons. Keep in mind that Ryanair's pricing is already stripped to the bone, so a discount code often means a few euros off or a free perk, not a massive slash—but every little bit helps when you're booking a family trip or a weekend getaway.
How to use your Ryanair code
Start your booking on Ryanair's website or app, select your flights, and enter passenger details. On the 'Extras' page, you'll see a box labeled 'Promo code'—click it and enter your code exactly as shown (codes are case-sensitive). Hit 'Apply' and the discount or free add-on will be reflected in your total before you pay. If the code doesn't work, double-check the terms—some codes are only valid for new customers or specific routes—and try again, or remove it if it's expired. Complete your payment to lock in the fare.
FAQs
Does Ryanair have promo codes?
Yes, Ryanair occasionally offers promo codes, but they're rare and usually tied to flash sales or specific routes. Influencer codes are more common and can be found on social media.
How do I get a Ryanair discount code?
Sign up for Ryanair's newsletter, follow their social media, and check influencer partnerships. Codes are often shared on Instagram or TikTok, but they expire quickly—so act fast.
Why isn't my Ryanair promo code working?
The code may be expired, not applicable to your route or fare type, or entered incorrectly (check for spaces and case). Also, some codes only work on the app or the website, not both.
Can I use a Ryanair code on any flight?
No, codes are usually restricted to specific routes, dates, or fare types (like Value or Plus). Always read the terms—some codes exclude peak travel dates and packages.
